My name is Mike. I am a bro on a mission.

I absolutely detest the word “weird.”

I am a lover. I soul-search frequently.

I wear my heart on my sleeve.

I pride myself off of being as honest as humanly possible. Lying does not pay.

Speaking of honesty, I must admit that I am pretty terrible at responding to texts, IMs and Private Messages. Perhaps I enjoy talking in person rather than through technology (or you can just color me lazy).

I give compliments to others like it’s my job. Some think I’m lying just to put a smile on their face, but that is not so. I suppose that you’ll just have to trust me on this one.

There are certain things about myself that I have never told anyone (including my parents). This is unlikely to change anytime soon.

I am overly trusting of others, perhaps to a fault.

I have moments of being excessively clingy. If this is the case, please tell me so I can give said person some space.

I loved Elementary School. I hated Middle School. I neither loved or hated High School. 

College is certainly different. I view it as a means to an end.

I play certain video games quite often. They help me take my mind off of things.

My favorite bands are Dream Theater, Tears for Fears and The Police. I do not judge others based on what they listen to. I hope that others extend the same courtesy to me.

My favorite movies are A Beautiful Mind, American History X and Saw. I typically enjoy all films that I view, except for ones in foreign languages (which is a rarity). I feel that the term “chick-flick” is ridiculous.

I tend to hold grudges, unfortunately.

I am far more mentally mature than most people that I know, believe it or not.

I have never been able to understand the common label “emo.” 

I aim to please.

I frequently misunderstand what people are saying in person, and so I either take a backseat in a conversation or say something relevant to what I thought that I heard only to be laughed at. People perceive this as being oblivious.

One of my dreams is to get everyone in the world to like me as a person.

My dreams come true.
